The Cruize Zone

I don't know what's happened to me lately. I used to really enjoy my Jaguar. It ran great, looked good, and I was happy. Now I'm driving a 2011 Chevy Cruize.

Yeah, well, these things happen. The Jag's odometer went over 100K, it needed $9500 in repairs, and now I'm in a Cruize.

A Poker Cruise Would Be Better!

Sometimes it's better to save on your transportation and take a vacation. Ever been on a poker cruise? Nice staterooms, plenty of poker (a captive audience), and all the good food you can eat! How's it any better than that?

It's been several years since I've been on a cruise, but prices seem to have come down. All the more reason to head out for some fun on the sea.

You get great service, have a ton of activities on-board to choose from and your cabin fee includes everything, even all-night room service.

I've played games until 2 a.m. and then wanted pizza, soda and a dessert. Who hasn't? But on a cruise, they bring it to your room and it's all free. Well, it seems free.

There are plenty of cruise lines with casinos where you can play blackjack and so forth, but only a few lines that offer poker.

Poker Player Cruises currently offer one upcoming journey in February 2012. On the other hand, Card Player Cruises have two cruises left this year and a half-dozen scheduled for next year!

And the Poker

Oh yeah, did I mention you have to book through the poker cruise people to play in the poker room? The poker is great, with tournaments and plenty of live action. Most of the play is No-Limit Texas-Hold'em, but that's what everybody wants these days.

Card Player Cruises provide free beginner classes and $1-$2 games, free poker seminars, and several games in the $1-2 and $2-5 blind no-limit range.

If you owe your spouse a vacation, a cruise is a great way to spend time together. And, if you book a poker cruise, everybody will have a great time.
